Introducing the Office for International and Philanthropic Innovation

The Office for International and Philanthropic Innovation Both a new resource and an old friend here in PD&R, the Office for International and Philanthropic Innovation (IPI, formerly the Office of International Affairs) seeks to position HUD as a hub for innovation in housing and community development issues, needs, and best practices. IPI works to build new capacity and clarity within the Department by providing expert resources and a venue for staff and partners to access the best available evidence, innovations, and lessons learned from the philanthropic and international sectors.

IPI supports HUD's efforts to find new solutions and to align ideas and resources by performing research, developing networks, and facilitating collaboration of key partners and resources. Please visit IPI’s new web presence on www.huduser.gov to see results of collaboration and learning exchanges between countries; to find innovative, evidence-based, and relevant research, links, and speeches; to read about best practices in addressing and resolving the most challenging housing issues; to learn of events of interest to those in the international and philanthropic sectors; and to sign up for periodic email updates and notices.
