Dear Subscriber:

You will receive one more issue of ResearchWorks in 2011. Beginning in the New Year, HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) will help you unclutter your email box — and simplify your life a bit — by delivering all of our latest electronic news, research summaries, and report links to you in a single biweekly email. Our current e-newsletters, including ResearchWorks, will become part of The Edge, PD&R’s new online magazine. The Edge provides a concise view of PD&R research, periodicals, events, and publications in a convenient “all-the-news-at-a-glance” format. At the same time, our HUD USER News eList will transition from weekly to biweekly, so that subscribers will receive the News eList and The Edge in alternating weeks.

Existing subscribers to ResearchWorks need not sign up for The Edge — you’ll receive it automatically and will no longer receive ResearchWorks separately. The idea is to send you fewer emails, with access to a wide array of content that you can quickly scan and “click deeper” for in-depth coverage of the topics you care about most.

Keep a sharp eye out for your last issue of ResearchWorks and read future research articles on The Edge — it’s where busy housing professionals know to go for all the news in half the time!

If you have any questions during or after the transition, please contact HUD USER at 1-800-245-2691, option 1 or email us at helpdesk@huduser.gov.
