Sustainable Construction in Indian Country

Thank you for signing up to receive updates on the Sustainable Construction in Indian Country (SCinIC) initiative.

The initiative, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R), in partnership with the Office of Native American Programs (ONAP), aims to support and increase sustainable construction in Native communities.

We have recently added several documents to the SCinIC Web site. These include a sample of the letter being sent to tribes and tribally designated housing entities (TDHEs) introducing the initiative, a set of frequently asked questions (FAQs), and a list of selection considerations. You may find these at:
https://www.huduser.gov/portal/native_american/sustainable_construction.html

We look forward to keeping you posted about this initiative.
