Don’t Miss HUD Events at the Construction in Indian Country Conference!

On Wednesday April 30, representatives of HUD’s Sustainable Construction in Indian Country (SCinIC) initiative and the Office of Native American Programs (ONAP) will present at Arizona State University’s 14th annual Construction in Indian Country national conference. One training session will focus on the innovative energy-efficient and sustainable design/construction features of a seniors’ housing complex, developed by the St. Regis Mohawk Indian Tribe in Hogansburg, NY. The complex is also a SCinIC demonstration project.

ONAP Deputy Assistant Secretary Rodger Boyd will be the keynote speaker at the Construction in Indian Country conference luncheon, and will participate in an afternoon panel session on changing housing development strategies in tribal communities.
