Submit an article to Foreign Exchange, a section of HUD's Cityscape journal

HUD's Office for International and Philanthropic Innovation is seeking submissions for the March 2017 Foreign Exchange section of Cityscape.

Have original research to share? In 2014 alone, issues of Cityscape were downloaded over 192,000 times.

What's Cityscape?
Cityscape is a journal published three times a year by HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research. Cityscape is open to all relevant disciplines, including architecture, consumer research, demography, economics, engineering, ethnography, finance, geography, law, planning, political science, public policy, regional science, sociology, statistics, and urban studies.

What type of information does "Foreign Exchange" cover?
As HUD's international office, we source and edit submissions for the Foreign Exchange section of the journal. Foreign Exchange focuses on housing and urban policy in cities and suburbs throughout the world that could have value or provide lessons learned for U.S. communities. Often these take the form of an international comparative piece, such as comparing Chile's rental housing subsidy to the U.S.'s Housing Choice Voucher program. The most recent Foreign Exchange submission analyzed access to affordable housing finance in Morocco compared to U.S. housing finance.

How to submit?
We welcome one page abstracts to Matthew Hennessy (Matthew.L.Hennessy@hud.gov) by the end of September. Final article submissions will be due by October 15th.

We look forward to featuring your work in the next issue of Cityscape!
