Housing Surveys Parts 1 and 2: Occupants of New Housing Units, Mobile Homes and the Housing Supply
This historic document is an analysis of the results of two housing-related surveys carried out by the U.S. Census Bureau at the request of HUD. The first, titled the Survey of the Occupants of New Housing Units, asked occupants of newly constructed housing units questions about themselves, their new units, and the homes they had previously occupied. This survey was carried out over six months between October 1965 and March 1966. The second, an untitled survey of 2,900 purchasers of new mobile home units, was carried out between October 1965 and September 1966.
