This brochure describes the federal interagency Partnership for Sustainable Communities, a project of HUD, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the Environmental Protection Agency. Launched in 2009, the Partnership aligns the three federal agency's resources and policies in order to support communities seeking to provide more transportation and housing choices. Since its launch the Partnership has provided more than $3.5 billion in assistance to more than 700 communities in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
