Call for Nominations! 2018 HUD Secretary's Awards for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), in partnership with the Council on Foundations, is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 2018 HUD Secretary's Awards for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships. These awards recognize excellence in cross-sector partnerships that have led to increases in quality of life for low- and moderate-income residents through projects addressing housing and neighborhood improvements, education, health and recreation, transportation, community participation, arts and culture, safety, disaster response, innovative regional approaches, and economic development.

Nominated projects or activities will be judged based on strength of the cross-sector partnership, locally driven outcomes, lasting impact, evidence-based innovation, and transferability. Projects or activities must have been completed between February 2017 and February 2018 or, if ongoing, in effect since at least February 2017. Nominations must be completed electronically as a PDF document and submitted by 11:59 pm PT on March 9, 2018. To submit a nomination, please use the online fillable PDF, available here. For more information about the 2018 HUD Secretary's Awards for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships, please view the award announcement.

Judging for the awards will take place in March 2018, and award recipients will be honored at a presentation during a convening at HUD headquarters in Washington, DC, in June 2018.

Don't miss this opportunity to share your achievement in public-philanthropic partnerships!
