This historical report discusses price elasticity of supply as this pertains to housing, applying an economic analysis to HUD’s Housing Assistance Supply Experiment (HASE). HASE, the second component of the Experimental Housing Allowance Program, was an experimental program to test the market impacts of providing housing allowances to low-income households in Brown County, Wisconsin and St. Joseph’s County, Indiana.
