HUD USER publishes a series of case studies based on federal, state and local strategies that increase affordable housing opportunities, apply sustainable features and practices, and increase access to public transportation. Sustainable Design and Affordable Housing on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation

The Native American Sustainable Housing Initiative (NASHI) was launched in 2010 at the University of Colorado at Boulder (CU Boulder) to provide students from public and tribal schools a unique service-learning opportunity that is focused on providing design and building services on tribal lands.
