* EHLP Income Limits: Applicant must have a total household income equal to, or less than, the greater of $75,000 or the maximum 120 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) for a family of four in fiscal years 2008, 2009 or 2010, before suffering a loss of income resulting from involuntary unemployment, underemployment, and/or medical emergency/serious injury (otherwise known as “pre-event income.”)

** These five states are funded as “Substantially Similar Programs,” which may set their own income limits. This website provides the unique income limits for these states, but please check directly with the state entity administering the program to ensure you have the official income limits:
