New Funding Opportunity: Thriving Communities Technical Assistance NOFO

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently announced the availability of $5 million for the Thriving Communities Technical Assistance program. This technical assistance will focus on enabling jurisdictions to consider housing needs and boost supply as part of their larger infrastructure investment plans. Technical assistance providers are eligible to apply, and there will be a separate process for jurisdictions to request technical assistance from those providers once providers are selected.

To apply, visit: https://www.huduser.gov/portal/nofos/thriving-communities.html.

Applications are due on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) released a similar funding opportunity. On October 12th, HUD and DOT will host a webinar for interested applicants to learn more about the Thriving Communities program and specific requirements of each funding opportunity. Sign up for the webinar here.

We encourage you to apply or spread the word of these opportunities throughout your networks, such as your organization’s electronic mailing lists or newsletters.
