NWGHA to Move Forward with New Energy Efficiency Program

The Rome (GA) News-Tribune (6/28) reports, "The Northwest Georgia Housing Authority board has decided to move forward with the development of an energy performance contracting program that could result in energy savings of between $300,000 and $400,000 annually." The piece adds, "The contracts involve an upfront energy feasibility analysis to determine the scope of potential savings and need for capital expenditures." Next, officials would "hire a vendor that would guarantee energy savings."
