This Operation Breakthrough Feedback Report summarizes the designs of the 22 housing systems ultimately selected, out of the 601 of proposals submitted to HUD, for production. Operation Breakthrough was a HUD demonstration project to test innovative building materials and methods for the industrial production of housing at volume, beginning in 1969.
