This historic publication was meant to find out why minority residents of Montgomery County live where they do, and why there is residential clustering or segregation by race in the County, to the extent that it exists. The focus of the study was the role of race and racial perceptions and attitudes in housing location decisions and in how residents evaluate their current housing.
