New One-Family Homes Contractor-Built 1963 to 1967

It is a joint publication of the Bureau of the .Census, U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The joint study of the sales of new one-family homes was undertaken in 1962.1 Among the individual subjects examined are the number of new one-family homes contractor-built, the types of financing used in the contract price commitment, the contract price {excluding the price of the site), and related subjects such as the number of square feet of floor area, the number of bathrooms, the number of bedrooms, the number of stories, the type of foundation, the type of parking facility, the inclusion or exclusion of appliances or central air conditioning in the contract price, and the type of heating fuel used.
