HUD has just released "The Power of Partnership:
Celebrating 10 Years 1994-2004, Community Outreach
Partnership Centers", a publication that celebrates the
tenth anniversary of the Community Outreach Partnership
Centers (COPC) program. COPC, the flagship program of
HUD's Office of University Partnerships (OUP), provides
grants to colleges and universities to support teaching,
research, and outreach activities that address urban
issues.

The special anniversary report highlights the work of
several COPC programs that are working toward attainment
of the following goals: Empowering Local Residents,
Empowering Local Organizations, Improving the Quality of
Education, Helping HUD Fulfill Its Mission, and Improving
Relations between Campus and Community.  Within each of
these goals the report looks at how the COPC program has
impacted the participating students, faculty, and
community partners as they collaborate to address
community-identified issues.

"The Power of Partnership: Celebrating 10 Years 1994-
2004, Community Outreach Partnership Centers" is
