Housing Equipment May Be Financed Through the Modernization Credit Plan of the Better Housing Program

This historic memo describes items that may be covered by the Modernization Credit Plan of the FHA’s Better Housing program. Generally, “built-in” or permanent features of a building or landscape would be eligible for financing by an FHA-insured loan, but “moveable” objects, such as furniture or appliances would not.
