Cityscape Call for Papers: Deceptive Practices in Consumer Financial Services

HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research invites manuscript submissions for a symposium in a future issue of Cityscape on topics that relate to deceptive practices in the provision of traditional and alternative consumer financial services. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: deceptive mortgage-related practices, deceptive practices in the operation of alternative financial services, financial service practices that reduce household wealth, and promising methods of assisting customers targeted by abusive financial service practices. Submissions must be original work and should consider the topic within geographic, urban planning, classical economical, or interdisciplinary frameworks. All interested parties should submit abstracts by August 31, 2014 to Padmasini Raman at padmasini.s.raman@hud.gov.
