Help Set HUD's Research Agenda

Dear Partner:

What are the critical research questions and policy areas HUD should explore next? Last fall I reached out to you about PD&R's Research Roadmap as we launched our update process. To date, more than 300 ideas and research questions have been submitted in response to the question above via email, online forums, and in person interactions.

As you know, the Research Roadmap is our strategic research plan. We've been working our way through the ideas in the current Roadmap and we have a number of excellent research efforts underway. As we look ahead, it is critical that PD&R hear from you about the research ideas, trends, and questions that should frame our next five-year plan.

It's not too late to contribute to the process! There are two easy ways to share your input. First, you can email the Research Roadmap team directly at PDRResearchRoadmap@hud.gov. We also invite you to join in the conversation in our Research Roadmap Forums on HUDuser.gov. While you do need to register and login to the forum to participate, your feedback will remain anonymous unless you choose to share your name and affiliation in your posted feedback.

Your ideas are always welcome, but feedback provided by Friday, May 27 will be most useful. We look forward to hearing from you!

Lynn M. Ross, AICP
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy Development
