BCLC and the Siemens Sustainable Community Awards

The Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) is in the process of accepting nominations for the Siemens Sustainable Community Awards. These awards provide the opportunity for a community to nominate themselves based on a successful sustainable program rooted in a public private partnership that has helped improve quality of life, be a steward of the environment, and increase the ability to sustain a successful community.

The awards are presented to a small, medium, and large community during BCLC’s annual conference in April in Philadelphia. Winners will receive a donation of $20,000 of trees and the Alliance for Community Trees will work with each of the winning cities to coordinate the logistics of the trees and tree planting. The deadline for submission is this Friday, January 21. The application is very quick and simple!
