Nomination for Healthy housing

Important Notice: The deadline to submit nominations for the 2024 HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Healthy Homes is May 15, 2024.

To submit a nomination, please input the nominator’s name and contact information into the form located on this page. All required fields (denoted by an asterisk) must be filled. Once information has been entered into the necessary fields, please select the button to attach and send. This will generate a draft email addressed to helpdesk@huduser.gov. Please attach all required submission materials to this email and send. If the email is not automatically generated, please send a new email with required submission materials to helpdesk@huduser.gov.

Submission Requirements

There is no fee to submit a nomination, and previous nominators and previous winners may submit a nomination. Nominations must be completed electronically as a Word document. The nomination must include the following:

• Title of the project, program, or initiative
• Name and contact information of the person submitting the nomination
• Name of organization, group, or agency
• Project Abstract (limit 1 page)
• Project Narrative (limit 4 pages)
• Supporting Documentation
• Photo or Video

If you wish to provide a Dropbox link for videos or high resolution pictures, please include the link in the email. If you do not have a Dropbox account or other means to share the videos or photos, please reach out to helpdesk@huduser.gov for a Dropbox link.
