Quality Control for Rental Assistance Study

HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research recently
released Quality Control for Rental Assistance Subsidies
Determination: Final Report for FY 2006. This study was
designed to measure administrative error by housing
providers during FY 2006 (October 2005 through September
2006). National estimates of the extent, severity,
costs, and sources of rent errors in tenant subsidies
are calculated for:
 
o PHA (Public Housing Authority)-administered
Public Housing;
 
o Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher;
 
o Moderate Rehabilitation programs;
 
o Owner-administered Section 8; and
 
o Section 202 and Section 811 programs with Project
Rental Assistance Contracts or Project Assistance
Contracts.
