During the fourth quarter of 2024, growth in single-family home permitting was strong in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan, where the number of homes permitted rose 18, 15, 13, and 7 percent to 3,150, 2,850, 4,325, and 3,425 units respectively, when compared with the fourth quarter of 2023.
