Cityscape Habitat III Symposium

HUD invites paper submissions for a dedicated Symposium in Cityscape: A Journal of Policy Development and Research on topics related to Habitat III, the U.N. Conference on Housing and Urban Sustainability. 

Held at 20-year intervals, the conference provides an opportunity to reflect on sustainable urbanization in ways that make connections between and across international and domestic contexts, build on lessons learned, and push policy and practice forward. Accepted papers must be well-organized and make an original contribution to knowledge related to housing and urban sustainability. Submission proposals may be theoretical or empirical, and papers that provide discussions on policy implications are encouraged.

Please electronically submit a 100-200 word abstract describing your proposed paper to Katrina.A.Durbak@hud.gov by January 29, 2016. Early career scholars are encouraged to apply. Papers accepted for the Cityscape Symposium must be submitted by June 15, 2016 and will be subject to a double-blind review process. The final paper submission deadline is September 30, 2016.
