New AHS Resources Ready for Download:

  • Break-in-Series Evaluation for the 2015 and 2017 AHS
In 2015, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Census Bureau redesigned the AHS, including drawing new longitudinal samples for the nation and metropolitan areas. This evaluation uses information collected from a bridge sample of housing units interviewed in 2013, 2015, and 2017, and examines the impact the new sample and weighting had on the AHS estimates. Now available: https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/ahs/operations-and-administration/redesign-2015/breakin_2015_2017.html
