An Operation Breakthrough Feedback Report, this historic publication describes the fire testing that the new building materials and methods developed during Operation Breakthrough were subjected to. Operation Breakthrough was a HUD demonstration project to test innovative building materials and methods for the rapid production of housing at volume, in which 21 housing systems producers designed and built housing models at 9 preselected sites, beginning in 1969.
