This historical publication is the third chapter of the Historic Structures Report Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Building. The purposes of this chapter are to document the original appearance of the building, provide a base against which the effects of age and later alterations can be measured, and provide information on original materials which are no longer in use. Primary materials for this chapter include original drawings, specifications, photographs of construction and immediately after construction, and construction correspondence.
