Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program

Overview

In 2016, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded funds to 10 Continuums of Care (CoCs) in round one of the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) to enable them to develop and implement coordinated community approaches to preventing and ending homelessness of youth and young adults ages 14-24. In 2017, HUD launched a 4-year evaluation of the 10 CoCs funded in round one, along with three peer (comparison) sites. The evaluation will capture how YHDP affects the development and implementation of comprehensive systems-level approaches to addressing youth homelessness.

All reports for this study will be posted on this page. For program information, including program notices, guidance, and reports, please visit HUD’s Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs’ (SNAPS) YHDP page.
