Posted Date: July 01, 2021

This historic publication focuses on the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Tenant Accessibility Study to determine the feasibility of conducting a nationwide mail survey of successful voucher enrollees with physical disabilities about their experience in searching for accessible units. Additional goals of the report included exploring how and in what ways public housing authorities (PHAs) assisted enrollees with physical disabilities in finding accessible units, how PHAs carried out their roles and responsibilities in assisting enrollees with physical disabilities in finding accessible units, and examining the experiences of landlords who rent accessible units to enrollees with physical disabilities.

This report is part of the collection of scanned documents available to the public.
